Frequently Asked Questions

What is Thrive?

Thrive is a Christian, parent-served homeschool community that complements each family’s homeschool through shared learning, enrichment, friendships, and community.

What ages does Thrive serve?

Thrive offers classes and activities for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Younger siblings, from babies through pre-K, are also welcome to attend with their families. They have their own room where their moms serve alongside them during co-op.

What kinds of classes and activities does Thrive offer?

Thrive offers a variety of parent-led classes and enrichment opportunities for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Offerings vary each year and may include hands-on science, art, technology, nature, cooking, games, creative projects, physical education, and other interest-based classes. Thrive also offers occasional field trips and social activities, giving students and families additional opportunities to connect and spend time together outside of our regular co-op days. Families interested in Thrive can contact us to learn more about the classes and activities being offered for the current school year.

When does Thrive meet?

Thrive meets on Mondays and Thursdays during the school year. Classes are held from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, followed by lunch from 1:00–1:30 PM and time to play, socialize, and build friendships from 1:30–2:30 PM.

Is Thrive a drop-off program?

Thrive is a parent-served co-op rather than a traditional drop-off program. Currently, each family has a parent serving approximately four hours per week. Outside of their assigned serving time, parents may leave campus and return as needed while their K–12 students remain at Thrive. Babies through pre-K stay with their parent if the parent leaves campus.

How does Thrive fit into our homeschool?

Thrive is designed to complement your family’s homeschool by providing shared classes, enrichment, friendships, and opportunities to learn alongside other homeschoolers. Families continue to direct their children’s education at home while enjoying the added community and experiences Thrive provides.

Thrive brings together like-minded Christian families who share similar beliefs and values. Because our children learn, socialize, and build friendships together—and parents work closely together to serve the co-op—we believe having that shared foundation helps create a supportive community where families feel comfortable, connected, and able to work together toward common goals  Families interested in membership will be asked to review and agree to Thrive’s Statement of Faith.
